Mark has been riding and playing with horses for more than 25 years...gaining experience anywhere and everywhere he could. He started off trail riding and roping with friends, and eventually found himself volunteering with the BLM (Bureau of Land Management). What an experience that was! He stayed with them for 4 years helping with adoptions, transport and eventually doing demos with his Mustangs. This is where he developed is passion and talent for colt starting and problem horses. Over the years he's become experienced with roping, cow working, ranch work, trail riding/camping and trailer loading...but his talent and love for young horse development has always taken his heart. He loves giving horses a solid foundation and helping prepare them for whatever they may encounter in their future or whatever goals their human partner may have.
Mark started the Parelli program in 2005. He is currently a Level 4 student. Mark's dream is to become a Parelli Instructor and Colt starting specialist. Currently, however, Mark is currently NOT endorsed by Parelli to teach or start colts, he's just a student of the program and can use his experience to help you and your horse get where you want to go!
